I think the real estate commission must have tucked a license in my crib: I cannot have been in the real estate business over 40 years..... but I have been! So, I hope you will agree: I must be doing something right! I don't work with dozens of buyers and sellers today. I work for and with people I enjoy and feel I can really help - whether in buying their next home or selling the one they no longer want to own.

Greater Athens includes Athens, Watkinsville, Winterville, Bishop, and Bogart. I know and enjoy working in all these communities. In 2014, Athens got accolades in Food, Drink, Lifestyle and Music. My favorite of these is being third on Conde Nast Traveler’s list of “10 Most Underrated American Cities,” noting the city’s “new sense of sophistication ... without altering its appealingly slow pace.” But I also like that we are ranked 10th on MyLife.com’s July 2014 list of “Top 10 Best Mid-Sized Cities for College Graduates.” “The University of Georgia holds much sway in this city,” according to MyLife.com, “but those not in school make themselves count as well.”

Why Me?

  • Because I chose to make Athens my “new home town,” moving here in 2008. If you are moving to Athens, I can relate to what it’s like to learn a new place!
  • Because I am an SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) - one of only 6 in the Athens Georgia area - and am over 60 myself - I feel comfortable helping the 55+ age group.

I am also a CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist), a NAR designation. I’ve lived in 5 countries, so I know the ex-pat lifestyle very well.
